Outbound Student Mobility

Student mobility is a core part of holistic internationalization.

Canadore’s International Department delivers a full suite of programming for domestic students to study abroad, including the provision of study abroad scholarships.

Canadore’s domestic students have participated over the years in outbound student mobility.

These have ranged from participation in two-way exchange programs with institutions in Barbados, Belize, Granada, Mexico, Ecuador and China from 2009 to 2017.

While Canadore’s participation in outbound student mobility has been with a diverse range of partners over the years, greater numbers of Canadore domestic students gaining international experiences will help build their expertise, experience and global competencies.

Existing partnerships and options for students to consider travel abroad may be considered in the context of any of these myriad partnerships that presently exist between Canadore College and the partner institution abroad.

Application Process

Domestic Canadore students who wish to participate in outbound mobility programs may signal their interest via the following simple form. The form is updated each year to reflect partners able and willing to accept Canadore College students in any given academic year.

In 2022-23, we expect to offer domestic Canadore students the opportunity to participate in partnership possibilities with four different institutions for programs ranging from 2-3 weeks. These include:

  • Mexico (Aeronautical University of Queretaro (UNAQ));
  • Mexico (UTBIS PUEBLA Technological University)
  • Ireland (Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT)
  • Ukraine (Zaporizhzhia State Medical University (ZSMU))

You may also hear, periodically, of exchange opportunities from your academic professors via our office as opportunities arise. You are also welcome to signal particular interest in outbound mobility with any of Canadore’s partner institutions listed here; Canadore College’s International Department will endeavor to make this a reality for Canadore student learners in coordination with the institution in question.
