iLearn Support Sessions

New Faculty Orientation & Intro to iLearn
New Faculty Orientation (NFO) and Intro to iLearn introduce new faculty to Canadore’s teaching and learning practices, EdTech tools, and resources. These sessions are offered at the beginning of each semester.

Faculty Peer Group
The Faculty Peer Group is a collaborative space where faculty share teaching experiences, discuss challenges, and explore innovative approaches. By connecting educators across disciplines, the group supports reflection on effective teaching practices and fosters a community committed to continuous improvement.

Faculty Development Program
The Faculty Development Program (previously known as Facilitating Learning in Higher Education or FLHE) is currently under redevelopment. It will be available for faculty to register and complete in the near future.

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Fund
The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Fund supports faculty in developing SoTL projects at Canadore. Funding is available for up to four projects per academic year and may support expenses such as course release, student research assistants, materials, and travel. The fund promotes evidence-informed teaching practices that enhance student learning.
