Exemptions for medical or religious grounds protected under the Ontario Human Rights Code will be considered with the proper documentation.
Students must complete the request for exemption form and submit it to Student Success Services email@example.com and a Pathway Navigator will assist with an accommodation request for all approved exemptions.
Employees must complete the request for exemption form and submit it to ODTM.firstname.lastname@example.org who will assist with an accommodation request for all approved exemptions in consultation with the employee and the supervisor.
The exemption form is located on the Canadore College webpage here.
Once the consent form is received, the contact information will be provided to the third-party provider who will contact the individual directly on how to submit the necessary documentation.
Similar to the daily self-assessment process via the Canadore Safe App, students, employees and contractors will be asked to attest to their vaccination status via a vaccine passport feature. This feature will be under the COVID-19 resources tab on the Canadore Safe App. More information on this process will shared as details are finalized.
Individuals who do not have the Canadore Safe App will be asked to attest to their vaccination status at the security checkpoint located at each campus. Information on the attestation process will be communicated as details are finalized.
