West Parry Sound Campus Update

Canadore College has made the difficult decision to wind down operations at its West Parry Sound campus as part of a series of organizational and operational changes to ensure the College continues delivering high-quality education. This decision reflects the need to align programs, resources, and service delivery with current student demand and labour market needs. Current students will continue to be supported through to completion of their studies, with a focus on minimizing disruption and ensuring access to the supports and services they need.

Will current students be able to complete their programs?
Yes. Canadore College remains committed to supporting current students through to completion of their studies with minimal disruption.

Will student services still be available?
Yes. Academic advising, financial aid, wellness supports, and other student services will continue to be available to support students.

Why is the campus closing?
The decision reflects ongoing enrolment pressures and the need to align programs, resources, and service delivery with current student demand and labour market needs.

When will the campus close?
The wind down of operations will take place in phases. We will continue to share more information as details are confirmed.
