“My experience at Canadore was great. I got to meet people from all over the globe and learn new cultures which was very enriching. Because English was not our first language, it felt like a safe environment to learn the language and make mistakes in order to gain from them. Studying English at Canadore helped me improve my English skills as well as prepare me for CEGEP. I just finished my DEC in languages which was taught in English, and because I went to Canadore before, I was able to write essays more eloquently. Reading exams and oral presentations felt less challenging due to doing many at Canadore. Moreover, my year at Canadore will still be helpful in the future because I’m going to study translation from English to French in University!”
