Call for Abstracts
We are now accepting abstracts for The U.P.L.I.F.T. 2025 – Uniting Professionals in Learning and Interprofessional Conference. If you have a project, research, or initiative related to Interprofessional Education (IPE), we invite you to share your work with our community. Selected abstracts will be presented during the conference, offering an opportunity to contribute to advancing the future of IPE.
Conference Themes for Abstract Submission:
- Student Learning in IPE: Investigate the experiences, challenges, and successes of students within interprofessional education programs. Focus on how these learning experiences shape student outcomes, skills development, and professional collaboration.
- IPE in Canadian Colleges and Universities: Current State and Future Prospects: Analyze the evolution of interprofessional education (IPE) in post-secondary institutions across Canada, exploring the impact of technology, the COVID-19 pandemic, equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), cultural safety, accessibility, and the broader socio-political and economic landscape on IPE initiatives.
- IPE and Community Partners: Explore the essential role of community partnerships in advancing and strengthening IPE programs. Highlight successful collaborations, best practices, and strategies for fostering effective partnerships between academic institutions and community organizations.
- Indigenizing IPE: Examine innovative approaches to integrating Indigenous knowledge, worldviews, and practices into interprofessional education. Share strategies for creating culturally safe learning environments that honor Indigenous perspectives while promoting inclusivity and respect within IPE programs.
