High Fidelity Simulation Labs and Genomics Lab
The Genomics lab includes two DNA sequencers and a vast array of associated equipment that enhance applied research capacity in areas such as pharmacology, addictions, and surgical implants to better understand and prevent diseases. The high-fidelity health sciences simulation labs at Canadore College support academic programs and research. These labs are equipped with high-end fidelity audio/visual equipment and interactive mannequins to replicate real symptoms.
Non-Destructive Testing Centre
The College’s Non-Destructive Testing Centre is a key component of Canadore’s Aviation Technology Campus. The Centre is a key academic resource for aviation-related programming and also provides industry with access to leading composites technologies and consulting services to assist them with innovative and cost-effective research and development. The Centre’s non-destructive testing capabilities in particular are unique to northern Ontario, helping to stimulate economic growth through innovative research, industrial applications, testing services and business incubation.
The Village
This world class health and wellness facility is a ground-breaking approach to educating the next generation of our country's health professionals. It is the first facility of its kind in Canada. It blends Indigenous, Eastern and Western practices, and offers student led clinics, custom built classrooms, and a traditional Indigenous ceremony space.
