New On-Campus Health Care Services!
Canadore College and Nipissing University are excited to announce that Canadian Shield Health Care Services is now our new on-campus primary health care provider! After a careful review process, Canadian Shield was chosen to continue and build on the excellent care our Campus Health Centre team has provided over the years.
This means students, staff, and your immediate family members can continue to access important services like help with illness, primary care, and disease prevention — all close to home, right on campus. Plus, to better fit student schedules, the clinic will now offer appointments on weekdays, evenings, and even weekends.
Looking ahead, we’re working with Canadian Shield to expand services in areas like cardiology, respirology, mental health, and senior care - in partnership with Canadore’s specialized programs. They’ll also be offering hands-on student placement opportunities, helping you gain real-world experience right here on campus.

In addition to the services provided by Canadian Shield, we also have an on-campus Dental Hygiene clinic
Canadore College’s on-campus dental hygiene clinic is run by Dental Hygiene faculty, staff and students and offers a variety of services to patients.
Where to find them:
The main clinic is located in The Village, room V304 at the Education Centre Campus (100 College Drive, North Bay). You’ll also find scheduled remote clinics at our Commerce Court, Aviation, and West Parry Sound campuses.
