Applied Research

Applied research bridges knowledge and technology with finding solutions to real-world challenges. At Canadore College, the Research Office provides oversight for applied research projects and support at each stage of the research process.

Faculty and staff are encouraged to learn more about the guidance and resources available for pursuing applied research at Canadore. The Research Office offers professional development opportunities, workshops, and in-service options. As well, the Research Office provides a wide range of research support services that include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Applied Research policy interpretation
• Liaison with funding agencies
• Investigation of research opportunities
• Proposal writing support
• Budgeting and finance support
