Canadore College Unearths Revolutionary Campus Transportation System
Canadore College is delighted to announce a ground-breaking discovery that will revolutionize the way students and staff navigate between campuses.
After months of meticulous investigation, the Canadore Facilities staff has unearthed a hidden gem beneath the campus grounds - an extensive underground network, ingeniously constructed by the College’s very own campus groundhogs.
The College’s discovery of the groundhogs and the labyrinthine network that connects the campuses has led to the creation of a ground-breaking alternative transportation option for staff and students.
Need to get from the College Drive Campus to the Aviation Campus in record time? Just hop on a groundhog and zip through the underground faster than you can say "Groundhog Day"! Forget your lunch at Commerce Court Campus while rushing to get to the West Parry Sound Campus? No problem! Grab a groundhog and enjoy a scenic, well-lit ride while munching on your sandwich.
“I am delighted to announce this remarkable and sustainable new method of transportation available to our campus community”, said Canadore President and CEO George Burton. “This remarkable feat of engineering offers a unique perspective on campus connectivity. We look forward to exploring this newfound infrastructure and fostering further collaboration with our industrious groundhog colleagues."
The College will soon be launching exclusive groundhog-guided spelunking tours of this subterranean wonderland. Visitors of the Groundhog Glide should prepare to explore narrow passageways while dodging occasional rock and molehill obstacles.
Students, staff, and the local community can secure their spot on the Groundhog Glide today by pre-booking a groundhog for inter-campus travel at www.canadorecollege.ca/groundhogs. Travelers are encouraged to act quickly as tickets are limited and selling on a first come, first served basis.
