2017 Panthers Varsity Home Opener Weekend

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) – Canadore College’s elite student athletes take the court for the first time in the 2017-2018 OCAA season this weekend.

 Women and men’s varsity Panthers volleyball teams will be hosting the Seneca Sting this Saturday at the Education Centre Gym.

Event: Panthers Varsity Home Opener Games

Date: Saturday, October 21, 2017

Time: WVB @ 6 p.m. and MVB @ 8 p.m.

Location: Education Centre Gym, 100 College Drive, North Bay, Ont.

The men’s varsity basketball team is away at the Fleming Knights on Saturday and the Durham Lords on Sunday.

Panthers athletics also includes men’s and women’s varsity indoor soccer, campus rec ice hockey, co-ed rec pickleball, co-ed rec ice hockey and co-ed volleyball.

All spectators are welcome!

Admission to varsity games is free, and complimentary hot dogs and popcorn are served to game enthusiasts. Spectators are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to games to help stock the shelves of Canadore College’s Emergency Student Food Bank.
