Canadore College Entry Level Programs

  • General Arts and Science

    This program helps you explore career paths, build the skills you need for college or training programs. You’ll also improve your learning, communication, and confidence so you feel ready for what’s next.

  • Trades Fundamentals

    Build a solid foundation in the trades. Explore which trade is right for you while you gain the hands-on knowledge and skills required to continue your education in a Trades program or to start your future career in this diverse sector.

  • Game Design and Development

    This program combines artistic and technical aspects of the game production process. Learn the diverse skills needed to succeed in this ever changing industry including design, programming, creating algorithms and AI. Learn to create game art and gaming experiences and problem solve through gamification. 

  • Aviation Fundamentals

    Obtain the knowledge and skills you need to begin your career in Aviation. Learn basic techniques and standard practices used in the industry. Strengthen your math, science and technical skills and acquire the prerequisites necessary to gain entry into one of Canadore’s full-time aviation programs. This program is the first of its kind in Ontario.

  • Indigenous Preparatory Studies

    This unique culture-based program will help you find direction while learning the vital skills to make an informed decision about your college education or future career. You will gain a solid understanding of Indigenous history and culture, which will better prepare you to meet the challenges of postsecondary education.
