May 8, 2020 | Cindy Males, Public Relations and Communications Specialist

Canadore College’s Ashlyn Kadlecik has been named the recipient of a 2019-2020 CCAA (Canadian Colleges Athletic Association) Academic All-Canadian Award. The third year Canadore Panther Women’s Volleyball setter is a nursing student from London Ontario.

The Academic All-Canadian Award recognizes excellence in both academics and athletics. To receive the honour, the student-athlete must be named to their respective provincial all-star team in a CCAA sport and achieve honour roll status at their college.

This wraps up a stellar year for Kadlecik who was named the OCAA (Ontario Colleges Athletic Association) First Team All-Star, as well as the Canadore College Athlete of the Year-Female Sport.
