Celebrate at the 12th Annual Welcome Powwow

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) -- The twelfth annual Welcome Powwow will take place at the shared Nipissing University and Canadore College campus tomorrow.

Everyone is welcome to attend the powwow, as it is an opportunity to celebrate and share Indigenous culture while honouring the diversity of students at Canadore and Nipissing.

The powwow is hosted by Enji Giigdoyang, Nipissing University’s Office of Indigenous Initiatives, and Canadore College’s First Peoples’ Centre. 

Everyone is welcome and admission is free.

Date: Friday, September 15, 2017

Time: 11:30 a.m. Grand Entry

Location: Education Centre by the Pond with rain venue at RJ Surtees Athletics Centre, 100 College Drive, North Bay, Ont.

Please Note: Pictures and filming are not permitted during the Grand Entry and Flag Song.
