Creative Arts Talent Highlighted at Showcase

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) -- Students from Canadore College’s media programs will be displaying their creative collections at the third annual School of Media, Design and Dramatic Arts Showcase tomorrow.

Some of the brightest and most creative talents in northern Ontario will be highlighting their creative portfolios made up of artwork, concepts, entertaining demonstrations and performances, and screenings of videos and films.

 “Our students are extremely passionate about studying in their chosen creative fields, which comes across as you see their work and talk to them about their process and career goals,” said Yura Monestime, Associate Dean of Media, Design and Dramatic Arts. “This is an amazing opportunity for these emerging professionals to display their craft to their peers, potential employers, and the broader community.”

The showcase will display the work of the following programs:

  • Acting for Stage and Screen
  • Advertising and Marketing Communications
  • Broadcasting - Television and Video Production
  • Digital Cinematography 
  • Graphic Design 
  • Post Production

Everyone is welcome to attend the showcase and admission is free.
