Food Services Update - Spring/Summer 2023

As we wrap up another academic year, we wanted to provide a brief update on food services on campus.

Chartwells will no longer be providing food services in our cafeteria spaces effective May 1, 2023. We thank Chartwells for the services they have provided to our campus community over the years. We are happy to report that Canadore is currently in the process of finalizing an agreement with a new provider for food services in our cafeteria spaces. We anticipate the new provider, Sodexo, will be in place in advance of September.

Canadore is arranging for a daily “pay-what-you-can” coffee service at the Commerce Court Campus and the Aviation Campus. It will support the Canadore Student Food Bank, and will be available until the end of the Spring semester.

In the interim, Bay Bistro located in the NUSU Student Centre (221 College Dr.), and Twiggs Coffee Roasters at Canadore College (College Drive Campus) will continue to operate over the summer and will be available for campus catering needs.

Bay Bistro Summer Hours of Operation:

Monday to Friday – 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Twiggs Summer Hours of Operation:

Monday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Friday’s 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
