Planned Temporary Power Outage affecting parts of Canadore College, Monday February 24, 2020

Please be advised that Canadore College will experience a temporary power outage on Monday, February 24, 2020, while a new generator is installed. The power outage will affect all three floors of D-Wing, including 100 Elements and the nursing health area.
The temporary shutdown will affect all IT services at all campuses including The Education Centre, Commerce Court, Aviation, and Parry Sound. Other services that will be affected include phones, email, and debit machines in the Finance and Admissions departments and the cafeterias. These will remain open, accepting only cash transactions.
All Canadore campuses will remain open and it will be business as usual during the power interruption. Monday, February 24, 2020, is the start of Reading Week for most of Canadore programs, so the planned outage will have minimal impact on studies.
