As we see across Canada and around the world rising violence against women and girls, including women who have experienced intimate partner violence and situations that have led to hundreds of women losing their lives needlessly.
For any female students on campus who are experiencing forms of violence in their lives, we want you to know that there is help out there for you from the Ending Violence Everywhere Organization. You are not alone and EVE is here to help you rebuild your lives and help you on the path to healing.
EVE organization was found in July 2024 by Cait Alexander who is a Canadian artist, model and survivor of a lethal experience of intimate partner violence in 2021. After fleeing to California for safety, Cait decided to share her story nation-wide and start advocating for legislative changes to better protection of women and their children, which led to the creation of the Ending Violence Everywhere organization.
The Ending Violence Everywhere is a North American not-for-profit organization that advocates for survivors of intimate partner violence and gender based violence. Advocacy and supports by connecting survivors to legal help, housing supports, moving services, childrens support services, medical needs, mental health supports and more etc. EVE’s mission is to eradicate all forms of violence with a strong focus on intimate partner violence, sexual assault and family violence through comprehensive, survivor-centred initiatives.
