International Student: Pre-Departure Orientation for Spring Semester

March 20th @ 9:00 AM EST

Join us as we touch on several key areas that will support international students to be best prepared for travel and study in Canada. This includes providing an introduction to Canadore College, discussing travel-related matters, accommodation and registration related matters. This session will include preliminary information about the City of North Bay as well as the International Health Plan. Be sure to attend this session, and join us for in person Orientation as we Welcome you Home!

Canadore Spring Welcome and Orientation
April 25, 2025

Location: Canadore College - Commerce Court Campus (E148) 60 Commerce Court

All Spring 2025 Semester 1 students are invited to participate in our Canadore Orientation which will be happening in-person at Canadore College – Commerce Court Campus.

Check-In and Registration begins at 9:00 AM for New Canadore Students

Session 1: Canadore Welcome & International Orientation | Time: 9:30 AM

➥ All first semester international students will have a chance to meet and learn about various topics including immigration, health insurance, international student support/resources, safety and security, cultural events and more.

Please note: If you are a second-program student you do not need to attend this session.

Check-In and Registration begins at 12:00 PM for Canadore Second Program Students

Session 2: Lunch Social and Mini Expo | Time: 12:15 PM

➥ All first-semester students will have a chance to mix and mingle with fellow students, staff and faculty while enjoying some tasty food!

Session 3: Program Welcome and Orientation | Time: 1:30 PM

➥ All first-semester students will have an opportunity to meet their program coordinator and classmates and learn more about their specific program.

Please note: If you are taking a program at College Drive campus - transportation will be provided from Commerce Court to College Drive campuses for those that require it.
