Uniforms and culinary kits are mandatory in all lab classes and are required for the first day of classes. It is strongly recommended that your uniform and knife packages be purchased before July 31st to avoid delays in shipping and to ensure you have the required items in time. The Canadore College School of Culinary Arts maintains a standard for both the culinary tool kit and the uniform package which cannot be deviated from.

 Students will be able to try on the uniform for sizing on the first day of classes in the Campus Shop.  To streamline the process, if you are in North Bay throughout the Summer you can stop by the Campus Shop and have this completed in advance.

This package does not include the following necessary items for service in 100 Elements Restaurant and must be purchased by the individual:

  • Black Dress Socks – apx. $7.00
  • Black Dress pants – apx. $40.00
  • Black Non Slip Shoes -must have black soles, black laces (if applicable), no open toe or heel and comfortable due to long hours of standing. – apx. $60.00
  • Black Belt – apx. $15.00

Culinary Tool Kit:
