Construction Contracting Law and Procedures
7 weeks – Microcredential
Overview
In this 12 hour module, students examine the legal framework under which companies and individuals contract to supply labour and materials to job sites. Students are trained in dispute resolution alternatives to avoid the litigation process. Students learn the rights and obligations of those in the construction pyramid. They also learn organizational strategies to manage risk in meeting critical timelines. This module is part of the Contracting Small Business in Ontario Micro-certificate.

You may enroll in a Continuing Education course at Canadore College if you are 19 years of age or older or if you have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
