Gas Tech 2: Domestic Appliance Theory Part 1 and 2

Overview

This course, which is required for participants who wish to earn their Gas Technician 2 certification, includes a number of modules in the Gas Technician 2 program. Upon successful completion of the Domestic Appliance Gas Technician course (Parts 1-4), participants may install, alter, purge, activate, repair, service or remove a vented refrigerator and its equipment or any unvented residential natural gas or propane gas appliance with an input of 1,000,000 BTU or less, as stipulated in Regulation 348/96 made under the Energy Act.
Prerequisite: GT3 Ticket

You may enroll in a Continuing Education course at Canadore College if you are 19 years of age or older or if you have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
