Palliative Care – Field Placement

Overview

This course is a form of guided learning in a variety of placement settings, offering appropriate and supervised direct involvement in the everyday realities of Palliative Care practice.
Prerequisite: Students must be within one course of completing the theoretical components of the program.

You may enroll in a Continuing Education course at Canadore College if you are 19 years of age or older or if you have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.

Proof of successful completion of an approved certificate program in health or social services or equivalent.

Most college level courses require textbooks; textbooks are not included in the course fees. It is the student’s responsibility to purchase any required textbooks.
