Start an exciting career in the field of law enforcement and become a leader in your community. Learn from experienced professors, inside and outside of the classroom. Throughout your training you will work on a number of projects with policing agencies and may have the opportunity to be paired with a serving police officer mentor. Canadore has close partnerships with municipal, regional, and provincial police services, providing you with vital experience and networking opportunities.

OSSD or equivalent, ENG4C or ENG4U

If English is not your first language you must provide proof of English competency. You must have a minimum overall band score of 5.5 on the Academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or equivalent accepted English language proficiency test to be admitted to a postsecondary program at the college. Notwithstanding the above, the English proficiency standards required to obtain Study Permits and Temporary Resident Visas from Canadian Embassies vary around the world. The higher English language proficiency standard will apply.

Students are encouraged to get their First Aid/CPR training as well as the 40 Security Training and Certification.
