Canadore College to welcome prospective students and their families this weekend at Spring Open House

Canadore College is excited to meet future students during its open house on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at all three of its campuses in North Bay.
“Canadore’s Open House is always one of the most exciting events of the season for students and families,” said Josh Willard, Manager of Marketing and Recruitment. “Open House provides a real taste of the Canadore experience where students can take a tour of labs and classrooms, learn more about our 80+ programs, our student services and, of course, experience the atmosphere on our campuses”.
“Canadore College is actively supporting the establishment of new industries, opportunities for immersive and experiential learning, and partnerships with employers that are leading to incredible careers for Canadore Alumni,” said Shawn Chorney, Vice President, Strategic Infrastructure, Indigenous and Learner Services. “Our people make Canadore magnetic and, when combined with our state-of-the-art facilities, the learner experience is second to none.”
More than 1,000 students graduate from Canadore every year, joining a network of more than 60,000 alumni around the world. Canadore is offering new programs this year including Project Management, Environmental Geomatics, Physiotherapist Assistant, Pre-Health Sciences, and Plumber Apprenticeship.
Students who register for Open House are eligible to win one of two ultimate starter packs which include an iPad, an Apple watch, and tuition for a year.
Canadore’s recruitment team will be at the North Bay campuses to offer college-wide tours between 11 am and 2 pm.
