Canadore College kicks off the holiday season

Canadore College will once again mark the start of the holiday season with its employees and their families at an outdoor event at its Commerce Court Campus Friday evening. The campus will remain closed to the public, but Canadore hopes the North Bay community will take a few minutes to enjoy a fireworks display that will be set off over the campus at around 7:00 pm.
Canadore hosted an outdoor event in 2020 and 2021 as a way for employees and their families to celebrate the holiday season together while under pandemic restrictions. Canadore has returned to more traditional operations, but the drive-in event remains popular with employees.
The College is asking employees to donate to the Canadore Student Food Bank at the event, and we encourage others to contribute to their favourite charity during this season of giving.
Canadore College campuses will be closed for the Winter Break from Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 4:30 pm to Tuesday, January 4, 2023 at 8:30 am.
