Goal
Canadore College Career Launcher is a student community placement experiential learning program to provide paid work experience linked to program learning outcomes for vulnerable and diverse student and alumni groups. These groups include but are not limited to: Indigenous, international, racialized and LGBTQ+ students, students with disabilities and hard to place students.
Objective
The Career Launcher aims to create a community placement program to provide students and new alumni with real work experience through paid placements. Employers receive a $2,500 incentive to hire a Canadore student (minimum 250 hours) or $4,000 for Alumni within 6 months of graduation
