Chief Medical Officer of Health for Ontario, Dr. Keiran Moore, has confirmed the vaccine mandate has been rescinded for colleges. Canadore College will maintain its COVID-19 vaccination policy through to the end of the Winter semester which is April 22, 2022, for most programs. The College will continue to evaluate Public Health guidelines and determine if the vaccine policy will be reinstated after it expires on April 22nd, 2022. The College continues to highly encourage anyone who is able to receive the COVID-19 vaccine doses as recommended by Public Health.
In compliance with Government of Ontario regulations, Canadore College is maintaining its COVID-19 mask mandate through the upcoming Spring and Summer semesters. Everyone should complete a self-assessment before coming onto campus. Do not come to campus if you are sick or isolating.
