Panthers Play Home Court this Weekend

(NORTH BAY, ONT.) – The Canadore Panthers have home court advantage this weekend against the Algonquin Thunder and the La Cité Coyotes.

On Saturday, Panthers men’s basketball will face off against the Thunder, and both volleyball teams will battle La Cité.

La Cité will hit the court again on Sunday in men’s basketball.

The women’s volleyball team is ranked 6th in the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) standings, undefeated at 6-0 in the east division. In men’s volleyball, the Panthers are ranked 10th with a 4-2 record in the east division. The men’s basketball team is ranked 7th in the OCAA east division.

WVB Panthers vs. Coyotes @ 6 p.m.

All events take place at the Education Centre gym. Admission is free, but as a part of the college’s food insecurity initiative, patrons are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to games to help stock the shelves of the North Bay Food Bank and the Canadore College Emergency Student Food Bank. Game enthusiasts also receive complimentary popcorn.
