Summer Transition Program

August 23 - August 27, 2021

Summer Transition is a FREE virtual program for first year Canadore students who have a disability.

This program prepares first year students for college life and learning by:

  • Providing opportunities to gain skills for academic success
  • Building connections with staff and students
  • Informing students of available college resources

Student Success Services

Accessible Learning Services provides academic accommodations for students with permanent or temporary disabilities to reduce and/or remove educational–related barriers. Accommodations and services are based on documentation of the functional limitations associated with a student’s disability

Not sure if you should register with Student Success Services?

  • Did you have an Individualized Education Plan in High School?
  • Are you transferring from another Post-Secondary Institution and had an Accommodation Support Plan?
  • Do you have documentation supporting the diagnosis of a disability?
  • Do you have a mental health diagnosis or concern (e.g., anxiety, depression, PTSD etc.) or are you feeling overwhelmed?
  • Do you think you might have a disability but are not sure?

If you answered “Yes” to any of these questions – please contact Student Success Services to set up a meeting with our Triage Navigator to determine eligibility. You can connect with our office by phone 705.474.7600 ext. 5205 or email: studentsuccessnow@canadorecollege.ca
